Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi while addressing a press conference said that the national airline PIA will be clean up in such a way that it will be counted among the top airlines in the world, while in a few months you will see that Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority will become the world’s top authority.

The Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs along with Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz and Special Assistant for Accountability Dr. Barrister Shehzad Akbar said in a press conference that those who have been recruited in violation of PIA regulations will be held accountable. The matter of inquiry into a fake license will also be informed as soon as possible.

The Federal Minister said that we had introduced a new policy for civil aviation in 2019 that if dirty eggs were taken out of the company and thrown out, it would emerge as an ideal company. In this regard, we have started cleaning up in PIA, after which PIA will be counted among the top airlines in the world.

Ali Zaidi said that the new system of captain’s license was introduced in 2010 and at the same time the captain’s license was found suspicious and against the rules. We have grounded 54 people after investigating the matter. Those who have used their political influence to destroy this institution will never be spared.

Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant for Accountability Barrister Shehzad Akbar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the concerned agency to complete the investigation into the issue of fake licenses and degrees of pilots as soon as possible. The decision will be taken at a meeting of the federal cabinet.

Investigation Report From the CFO of Sharif Family by NAB Came to Light

After the arrest of Muhammad Usman, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Sharif family, money laundering investigation has increased the difficulties of the Shahbaz Sharif family.

An investigation report from Shahbaz Sharif family’s CFO  has come to light. The NAB report said that Muhammad Usman, the chief financial officer of the Sharif family, had assisted the Shahbaz Sharif family in money laundering.

NAB has submitted the investigation report of Sharif family’s CFO Muhammad Usman to the accountability court.

The report states that the FMU has sent a report to the NAB on suspicious transactions in Shahbaz Sharif’s accounts. On October 23, 2018, investigation started on money laundering and assets beyond income. The report said that accused Muhammad Usman facilitated money laundering of Shahbaz Sharif and others and played an important role in money laundering. The CFO used to do money laundering on the instructions of Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz, and Salman Shahbaz.

It may be recalled that the accused Muhammad Usman, who was arrested on the day of Eid, is in the custody of NAB on physical remand and further revelations are likely to come to light during interrogation.
