Imran Khan Directed Pak Army To Handle the Sanitation Situation in Karachi

Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the Pakistan Army to improve the sanitation situation in Karachi. Prime Minister Imran Khan said in his tweet that he has directed the Pakistan Army to improve the sanitation situation in Karachi and in this regard, he has also directed the Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lt. Gen. Muhammad Afzal to visit Karachi.

In his tweet, the Prime Minister said that he has directed the Chairman NDMA to go to Karachi immediately and has given him the task of cleaning Karachi after the rains.

Earlier, the Prime Minister and Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail had met in Islamabad to discuss the current situation of Karachi.

The Sindh Governor had apprised the Prime Minister of the situation arising out of the recent rains in Karachi. The Prime Minister also directed the NDMA to submit a detailed report on storm drains in Karachi.
