Khalid TalatTurkish actress Esra Belgic, who played the lead role in the Turkish drama serial Ertugrul Ghazi, has been appointed brand ambassador in Pakistan by various companies, which lead to a mixed trend among local artists.
Pakistan’s famous model and actress Zhalay Sarhadi has reacted strongly in this regard. During a program, she said that Esra Bilgic aka Halima Sultan is a great actress, no one criticizes her abilities. But Halima and the other actress who has been appointed as the brand ambassador here is a slap in our faces. Why are we borrowing outsiders and giving them jobs here? She further said that why people here are so afraid to create things themselves, why things cannot be created here?

It may be recalled that Esra Bilgic was first appointed as a brand ambassador by Pakistan Super League team Peshawar Zalmi, then by Q-Mobile and Pakistan’s largest mobile company Jazz, which was criticized by Pakistani artists. They said that giving work to foreign actors in the country is an abuse of local artists.
Fans are happy that Esra has become the brand ambassador of Q-Mobile, but on the other hand, the people of Pakistani showbiz are worried about this news.

Many Pakistani artists have also raised their voices against this. In this regard, actor Yasir Hussain posted a story on Instagram in which he wrote, “Don’t you think that the ambassador for a Pakistani brand should also be Pakistani?” He further wrote that neither India nor Turkey but Pakistan Zindabad.
Yasir Hussain’s story was also supported by actress Aiman Khan and actress Minal Khan.
It should be noted that Qmobile is the only electronics company in Pakistan that manufactures smartphones locally.
Even before this, Yasir Hussain voluntarily took the meaning of Esra’s tweet and wrote, “First she took our work and now our boys?” While some other artists also expressed happiness on Esra’s tweet.

Khalid TalatOn the occasion of Independence Day, the President of Pakistan announced to give civil awards to 184 personalities who have rendered services to the country. On which actress Iffat Omar wrote on Twitter yesterday, without naming anyone, that in the 21st century it is only possible in Pakistan to give an award by the government to a person allegedly involved in sexual harassment.
Only in Pakistan an alleged Harraser gets an award backed by the Govt.Nowhere else in 21st cen. #PakistanZindabad
— Iffat Omar Official (@OmarIffat) August 16, 2020
She also used the hashtag “Long live Pakistan”. Iffat Omar did not specify in her tweet who she was talking about, but her tweet went viral on social media.
It should be noted that two years ago in 2018, singer Meesha Shafi had accused singer and actor Ali Zafar of sexual harassment, which led to a long legal battle between the two. Ali Zafar later claimed that Meesha Shafi could not prove her allegations, the court dismissed her case and thus Ali Zafar won the case.
According to social media users, the actress has said this about Ali Zafar. A large number of social media users came out in favor of Ali Zafar and criticized actress Iffat Omar for making allegations without any evidence. They are saying that if she has any evidence, she should present it in court.
@AliZafarsays …innocent until proven guilty…its with the courts. We cannot be the judge…..and if @itsmeeshashafi says 'i had forgiven and forgotten'..then how can you remember it again…after #MeToo movement starts…no one can act normally for 6 months with that person
