Govt took Action Against the Video Song of Saba Qamar & Bilal Saeed that Shot in the Mosque

The video of the recording of the song in the historic Wazir Khan Mosque went viral, where this action is being strongly condemned by social and religious circles, meanwhile, the Provincial Minister Auqaf took notice of the filming at Wazir Khan Mosque, and ordered the Secretary Auqaf to suspend the concerned officials.

The video of the song of actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed has gone viral on social media. The song was filmed in the historic Wazir Khan Mosque in which the sanctity of the mosque has been violated.

According to sources, the Punjab Auqaf & Religious Department had conditionally allowed the private production house to record in the mosque. In the terms, it has been made clear that no such thing will be done in the mosque which would violate the sanctity of the mosque. The Auqaf & Religious department has also banned commercial photography of weddings in the Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque, and other mosques. According to ministry sources, the private production house has recorded the song there in violation of SOPs.

The actions are being strongly condemned by religious circles after the video of the song being shot in the mosque went viral on social media.

Muttahida Ulema Board Punjab Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has demanded a ban on shooting commercial video and photography in mosques. Allama Zubair Ahmad Zaheer has said that immediate action should be taken against those who desecrate the house of Allah and do not care about the sanctity of that house.

Social media users are strongly condemning this obscenity and demanding from the government departments to take quick and appropriate action against all the parties involved in this violation. They are asking how did the religious and auqaf department allows the recording of songs in a sacred institution like a mosque?

On the other hand, Provincial Minister for Auqaf & Religious Affairs, Pir Saeed ul Hassan Shah, taking notice of the incident, has ordered Secretary Auqaf, Dr. Shad Ahmed, to immediately suspend the concerned officials, and has demanded an inquiry report within three days. Syed Saeed ul Hassan Shah said that such irresponsible incidents will not be tolerated at all, the sanctity of mosques and holy religious places will be maintained at all costs.

Bilal Saeed and actress Saba Qamar have clarified on Twitter that only scenes of the Nikkah ceremony were filmed in the historic mosque and the music is not included in the background of these scenes. Both artists say they still apologize for hurting people’s feelings.

A citizen named Hassan has filed a case against actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed at Iqbal Town police station. The petitioner said that the video song, which includes dancing as well, was shot in Wazir Khan Mosque and the sanctity of the mosque was violated. The video song was shot under the supervision of the mosque administration. A case should be registered against these persons and legal action should be taken against them.

Pakistani Govt gave a National Award to a Sexual Harasser, Iffat Omar

On the occasion of Independence Day, the President of Pakistan announced to give civil awards to 184 personalities who have rendered services to the country. On which actress Iffat Omar wrote on Twitter yesterday, without naming anyone, that in the 21st century it is only possible in Pakistan to give an award by the government to a person allegedly involved in sexual harassment.

She also used the hashtag “Long live Pakistan”. Iffat Omar did not specify in her tweet who she was talking about, but her tweet went viral on social media.

It should be noted that two years ago in 2018, singer Meesha Shafi had accused singer and actor Ali Zafar of sexual harassment, which led to a long legal battle between the two. Ali Zafar later claimed that Meesha Shafi could not prove her allegations, the court dismissed her case and thus Ali Zafar won the case.

According to social media users, the actress has said this about Ali Zafar. A large number of social media users came out in favor of Ali Zafar and criticized actress Iffat Omar for making allegations without any evidence. They are saying that if she has any evidence, she should present it in court.

Criticism against the Turkish drama ‘Ertugrul’ by some Pakistani Artists is Shameful, Zahid Ahmed

The series of statements in favor of or against the Turkish drama serial based on Islamic conquests is not new. Many Pakistani artists have made statements in favor of it, and in their view, similar Islamic and instructive stories should be worked on in Pakistan as well.

On the other hand, there are some actors who say that there should be a ban on broadcasting foreign content on state TV in Pakistan and according to such artists, their rights are being violated by introducing foreign actors and dramas. The actor said that the argument made by some artists against the series was very embarrassing and useless. Artists have concerns about foreign content is being broadcast in Pakistan, which will cause problems for their jobs.

Zahid Ahmed said that if you are good at your job then you should not worry because your job will not go anywhere. We should be ashamed that we as a Muslim country are unable to produce such material.
